Price weekly pools, every-2-weeks service and one-time cleans from your own costs
You set up your route's costs once: insurance, phone, software, your poles and test kit, and your own wage. Every pool is then priced from its own gallons, minutes and drive, not from the cheapest price in town.

- Stop losing minutes at the gate Gates and dogs, supply-house runs, leaves from trees with no screen and return trips sit on a checklist you have to answer.

How it turns gallons, minutes and the drive into a monthly pool price
Six tabs take you from your chemical shelf to a signed-up pool, and then to a check on how long each one really takes.
- Start HereTells you which tab to fill in first and what the colours mean. One evening does it.
- Shop SetupInsurance, phone, route software, your own wage and your poles, nets and test kit, added up into the break-even rate each route hour has to earn.
- Price ListLiquid chlorine, acid, tabs, shock, stabilizer, reagents and filter parts from your distributor invoices, each dated.
- QuoteSkim, brush, vacuum, test and equipment-check minutes, the drive and the checklist. It gives the price per visit and per month for each frequency, and a start-up charge for the estimate and first clean.
- Customer QuoteThe one page the pool owner sees: service, monthly price and pool terms.
- Job LogEvery pool you bid, won or lost, and how long each one really took.
What is a break-even rate? It is what every hour on the route, at the pool or driving to the next one, has to earn to pay your own wage, your insurance and your software, before any profit. Everything you charge above it is profit. The pool service hourly rate page works it through for a solo route.
Prefilled example built-in
The file comes filled in with a made-up pool service company and its $165.51 a month weekly pool quote, so you see a finished quote before you type in your own numbers.
The sample company is one owner-operator, with a break-even of $42.16 per billable hour. The pool is about 18,000 gallons, plaster, with a cartridge filter, two trees nearby and no screen, on weekly full service.
| A | B | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Part of the price, per weekly visit | Amount |
| 2 | Chemicals, time at the pool, tools and the drive | $23.76 |
| 3 | Easy-to-miss minutes (gate and report, supply runs, leaves) | $5.92 |
| 4 | Chemical markup, cushion and profit | $8.55 |
| 5 | Price per weekly visit | $38.23 |
At 4.33 visits that is $165.51 a month, plus a one-time start-up charge of $138.42 for the estimate visit and the first full clean. The $37.01 a month is kept after the owner's wage, and the pool earns about $58.73 per labour hour. The full method is on how much to charge for pool service.
$308
That is what the easy-to-miss lines alone added to a year of weekly visits to this example pool. It is about 6 times what the calculator costs. Miss them once and the file has paid for itself.

Why matching the cheapest pool company in town keeps you busy and broke
A lot of weekly pool prices start from what the cheapest local company charges. That number can't see your drive between stops, the trees over this pool, its gallons, or the summer weeks when it drinks chlorine.
Here is the math. At the sample's $42.16 break-even, every minute on the route costs about 70 cents. A pool 20 minutes from your last stop adds about $14 of drive time a visit, or about $61 a month at 4.33 visits. Match a low monthly price on that pool and the drive alone can eat what's left.
The calculator builds each pool from its own minutes, chemicals and drive, then shows the per-visit and monthly price. You still sell a flat monthly price, but one that covers that pool.
Gates, supply runs, leaves and the other route minutes it catches
The Quote tab won't mark a pool's price ready until each of these lines has a Yes, No or N/A:
- Gates, dogs and the service report you send after each visit.
- Supply-house runs and loading chemicals, spread across the route.
- Extra leaves from trees with no screen, a few minutes every week.
- Extra chemicals from runoff, a small filter or summer heat.
- Filter cleans, marked N/A because the terms charge them on their own line.
- Return trips for algae or a customer call. Left as No in the example on purpose, so the warning stays until you price a second trip.

Who it's for: weekly pool route owners and small pool companies
It fits owner-operators and small pool companies of up to about 15 people running weekly residential routes, new techs setting their first prices, and owners wondering whether their prices can pay a first hire. Twenty pools or two hundred, small screened pools or big ones under trees, each pool is priced from its own minutes and chemicals, so your mix of pools is covered.
It is not for big companies already pricing inside a full CRM with job costing, homeowners checking what service should cost, or builders and remodelers pricing new pools, replasters or equipment installs. If you only want your hourly number first, the free true hourly rate calculator does that part.
Stop matching the cheapest pool company in town. Price every weekly pool from your own chemicals, minutes and drive, catch the route minutes that usually get missed, and see which pools made money.
